Badger Seal Pack 90 (SP90)

Badger Seal Pack 90 (SP90)

A fully automated case sealer for flexible packaging operations

The Can Seal Pack 90 (SP90) is a fully automated case sealer engineered for full-overlap, seal-end cartons utilizing hot-melt adhesive to ensure secure and consistent closure. SP90 is highly adjustable and designed to accommodate a broad range of can and case sizes, enabling fast and efficient changeovers between pack configurations.

The combination of throughput, flexibility, and ergonomic advantages makes the Seal Pack 90 a strong capital investment for packaging operations. Based on typical applications, the machine offers a potential return on investment within approximately 6 to 8 months.

Operation Process:

The operator loads empty flat cartons into the magazine hopper and places the machine in automatic mode. The desired carton configuration is selected, and the guide rails are adjusted for either multipack or single-flavor operation. Once initiated, the hot-melt system automatically begins warming to operating temperature. When the set temperature is reached, the conveyor system starts.

Cans are automatically collated and loaded into the carton. The carton’s vertical flaps are closed, followed by closure of the lower major flap. Hot-melt adhesive is applied, and the upper major flaps are then folded and sealed. The completed carton is discharged, and the cycle repeats continuously.
